The Bluey Lego idea has now hit 10,000 supporters; celebrating with live stream!

It’s certainly time to celebrate for Bluey friends all over the world! Exactly one week ago, on July 5th, the incredible Lego Ideas project, “BLUEY!!,” reached an astonishing 10,000 supporters. To mark this milestone, the creator, Monkey Scouts Studios, is hosting a live stream on their YouTube channel this Saturday, July 13, at 2:00 PM CST (see link to stream below.)

The story of the Bluey Lego set

For those who may not be familiar, “BLUEY!!” is a meticulously designed Lego set that brings the world of Bluey to life. It was originally posted on August 15, 2022, but has recently seen a surge in popularity following posts on social media by big accounts.

The set includes the iconic Heelers’ house, filled with Easter eggs, playability, and storytelling potential. It features eight included characters: Bluey, Bingo, Bandit, Chilli, Muffin, Socks, Lucky, and Rusty, as well as Peddly the car.

During the stream, Monkey Scouts Studios will be building the iconic Heelers’ house from the beloved animated series, answering questions, and chatting with fans. It’s going to be an unforgettable experience, so mark your calendars and join in on the fun! This is a fantastic opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at the project and interact with the creator.

Building the Bluey lego model

Earlier this summer, Monkey Scout Studios posted a video showing the process behind building the lego set. In the below video you can see how they start with the front yard, constructing the pavement, garden, and mailbox. They then move on to the main structure of the house, using various Lego pieces and techniques to recreate the show’s iconic features, such as the porch railing and bright light yellow walls.

The video is divided into four parts, each focusing on a different section of the house, including the living room, bedrooms, backyard, and kitchen. The builder adds numerous details and Easter eggs throughout the build, including custom stickers and nods to specific episodes. Finally, the two halves of the house are combined to reveal the completed Lego Bluey house.

The house itself is a masterpiece, with intricate details and nods to the show. It can be split apart, and the two floors can be separated for easy access. The backyard is perfect for role-playing, with the balcony, grill, and back porch. The interior is just as impressive, with rooms like the entry room, Bluey and Bingo’s bedroom, the playroom, and the kitchen, each filled with delightful Easter eggs and references to the show.
