Bandit arrives at kindy to pick up Bingo, and she’s excited to show him that she gets to take home Bob Bilby, the class mascot, for the weekend. When they get home, Bluey remembers that she also got to take Bob home when she was in kindy. The family gathers around the dining room table to look through Bob’s scrapbook, which is filled with interesting things like his trip to Scotland and his karate lessons.
The girls then start playing with Bob, and Bandit ends up posing as a cow with Bob and Bingo on his back. However, their attention soon shifts to showing Bob the functions on their tablet. Chilli takes a photo of the three of them playing a game on the tablet. On the way to the supermarket, the girls ask to watch “cartoons” instead of playing car games, and Chilli takes another photo of them all absorbed in screen time. At the supermarket, they get distracted by the TV sets, and Bandit takes a photo on his phone. When they get home, they play more games on the tablet, and another photo is taken.
When Chilli prints out the photos for Bob’s book, they’re disappointed to see that Bob is watching screens in every single picture. Bingo is particularly regretful and runs off. The family comforts her, and they realize that Bob hasn’t had a very exciting time so far. They decide to put away all the screens for the day and find other ways to have fun with Bob. Bandit gets out his old Polaroid camera, and Chilli brings around the bikes. They go for a bike ride, play at the park, make silly faces, and watch some fireworks. The next day, Bingo shows her class the photos of Bob’s adventures, and then she passes him on to his next friend for a sleepover.
