It’s evening at the Heeler house, and Bandit is in the bedroom with Bluey and Bingo, pretending to be a chickenrat. Chilli comes in to tell the girls it’s bedtime, but Bingo can’t find her toy bunny Floppy. To help find it, Chilli suggests they retrace their steps from their long game.
The game started earlier when Ninja Bluey and Ninja Bingo were on the balcony, making a fire with building blocks to cook a chickenrat egg. Bluey used her wand to light the fire, but then Chilli said it was bedtime. Before that, Ninja Bluey and Ninja Bingo had sent Chickenrat Bandit to the bathroom to lay an egg in the laundry basket. Bluey sang him a birthing song, and when he screamed like a chickenrat, he laid an egg. The girls uncovered the basket to find the chickenrat egg and started planning to cook it.
The events that led to this point began when Bluey and Bingo searched for Bandit, found him hiding behind a room, and transformed him into a chickenrat. Earlier still, they had sneaked into the lounge room to try and turn Bandit into a chickenrat, but he escaped. The day’s adventures started in the playroom, where Bluey and Bingo got their ninja masks, and then in the backyard garden, where Bluey got her special wand. They had looked in the fridge for chickenrat eggs, but found none, and then decided to play café, with Bluey as the waitress and Bingo as the chef. Bandit had ordered a chickenrat egg, and they set out to make one. During a BBQ lunch earlier, Bingo had hidden Floppy in the shape puzzle toy and put it in the laundry basket. After retracing their steps, Chilli, Bluey, and Bingo finally found Floppy in the shape puzzle toy, and they were all relieved.
