Bluey - Ghostbasket

In disguise as a real estate agent, Dad attempts to persuade Mum to buy the Grannies' house. However, Janet and Rita have no intention of leaving their home.

Bandit, dressed as Hugo the real estate agent, attempts to persuade Chilli to buy their house. He claims the house is unoccupied, but when he opens the front door, he’s surprised to find Bluey and Bingo, dressed as grannies, waiting for him. He quickly ducks inside, leaving Chilli on the porch. It turns out that Bandit is selling the house on behalf of the grannies’ kids, who want to put them in an old folks home. The grannies were supposed to be at mahjong, but it was cancelled, and Bandit manages to convince them to stay out of the way.

Bandit returns to the porch and invites Chilli inside, but the grannies immediately pounce on her, armed with a bubble gun and grabby claw. Bandit throws a packet of biscuits to distract them and flees with Chilli to the kitchen. As he shows Chilli around, the grannies chase after them in a pedal car, and Bandit holds them back to prevent them from running over Chilli. The grannies eventually meet Chilli, and she announces that she likes the house and wants to buy it. However, just as things seem to be going smoothly, a ghostly moaning noise is heard from off-screen, and Bluey tries to warn Chilli about something, but Bandit covers her mouth again.

As Chilli explains that she hasn’t seen anything to put her off the house, the ghostly noise gets louder, and Bandit’s attempts to conceal the truth fail. The grannies reveal that the house is haunted by “Ghostbasket,” who doesn’t like young people. Chilli decides to investigate and discovers that Ghostbasket is actually Rita in disguise. Despite this, Chilli decides to buy the house, and Bandit is forced to accept the sale. Bandit chucks the grannies out, and they are seen moping on the front lawn. He stops them from walking off to the old folks home and proposes a plan.

As Chilli is sunbathing in the backyard, Bandit tries to scare her with a fake ghost act, crawling towards her in a wheelbarrow and moaning eerily. Chilli pretends to be frightened at first, but when Rita and Janet show up, she realizes that the ghost wheelbarrow must be real, and she runs off screaming. The episode ends with a “For Sale” sign in front of the house, continuing the plot of The Sign.
