In the Heeler house, Bandit is playing a tune on the piano with Bluey when Bingo jumps in, asking for a turn. Bluey isn’t ready to give up her spot, but Bandit starts using Bingo as a makeshift drum set, with Chilli joining in on the fun, dancing along.
Bingo then discovers the “magic xylophone” in the toy box, which has the power to freeze and unfreeze people with a ding of the mallet. Bandit becomes the first to be frozen and rearranged, with a finger up his nose, a boa wrapped around him, antlers on his head, and a mustache drawn on his face. However, instead of taking turns, Bluey dominates the playtime, barely giving Bingo a chance to use the xylophone.
Chilli heads off to work, reminding the kids to take turns and make sure to unfreeze their dad occasionally. Eventually, Bluey lets Bingo have a turn, and they unfreeze Bandit, prompting them to run inside and hide under Bluey’s bed. When they go searching for him, a disagreement breaks out over whose turn it is to use the xylophone. Bandit seizes the opportunity to sneak up and snatch the xylophone, freezing Bluey and taking her outside to be a garden gnome, threatening to hose her down. Luckily, Bingo is hiding in the bushes and manages to unfreeze Bluey while Bandit is distracted. However, when Bluey tries to grab the xylophone again, Bingo freezes her, explaining that it makes her sad when they don’t take turns. Bluey promises to do better, and Bingo unfreezes her. The kids then team up to trick Bandit into spraying himself with the hose and sit together on the front steps, enjoying each other’s company.
