The episode begins with Chilli finishing up her mopping and then taking a break on the couch. Bingo bursts in, eager to play, but Chilli isn’t up for it. Undeterred, Bingo heads to Bluey, who agrees to play and reveals that she knows a secret to getting others to join in: magic. Bluey demonstrates her magic by making Bingo’s tail wag and jumping on the bed, leaving Bingo delighted and wanting to learn more.
Bluey teaches Bingo how to use her magic on the verandah, and after a few attempts, Bingo successfully makes Bluey’s ears move. Bluey tries to recall a rule Chilli taught her, but can’t quite remember and decides to move on. The girls then decide to test their powers on Bandit, who has just finished laying new grass with Pat. When Bandit declines Bingo’s invitation to play, she uses her magic to take control of him. It doesn’t work at first, but she eventually manages to control him. Bluey also gets Pat, and the girls make them dance, much to Bandit’s frustration. Just as they’re having a blast, Chilli appears, startling the girls and demanding to know what’s going on. She uses her own magic to freeze them in place and reminds Bluey of the most important rule: never use magic for mischief and always use it to help others.
However, Bluey doesn’t seem to have learned her lesson just yet, as she uses her magic to make Chilli dance around, nearly splashing into a puddle. A magic battle ensues, with Chilli trying to reason with Bluey while Bingo watches her friend’s antics. The battle continues until Chilli manages to pin Bluey to the couch, but not before Bluey makes Bandit tickle her. Bingo eventually intervenes, using her magic to make Bandit sit on Bluey, defeating her. Later, the family is sitting in the backyard, with Bluey having learned her lesson. When the pizza boy arrives, Chilli threatens to use her magic to make Bandit accompany the girls to the door, but Bingo turns the tables, reminding Chilli of her own lesson and making her go to the door instead.
