Bluey starts building a house out of couch cushions, complete with a bookcase and a reading room. Her sister Bingo joins in on the fun, building her own house next door to accommodate all her pets and animals. Before long, Chilli and Bandit become their neighbors, with Chilli looking a bit concerned as Bandit arrives, prompting her to mutter “please say no” and “there goes the neighborhood”.
Bluey visits Chilli for a Book Club meeting, but they’re interrupted by Bandit revving his hot rod car, which is up on blocks. After they disband, Bluey returns home to find that Bingo has expanded her house and zoo into Bluey’s living and reading room. Bluey calls Chilli for advice, but Chilli is dealing with her own issue – Bandit’s feral dog impression, complete with loud barking. Bandit then moves on to playing drums and stage diving onto the drum kit. Bluey takes Chilli back to her house to show her the chaos caused by Bingo’s animals taking over the front yard.
Chilli decides to demonstrate how to ask someone nicely to do something, and she approaches Bandit, who’s now using a pretend chainsaw and has cut down a tree and put a hole in her roof. She asks him to fix the roof, but he responds with a “Nah, I don’t reckon luv”. They have a stare-off until Chilli gives him “the glare”, and Bandit apologizes and offers to fix the roof. Bluey tries out Chilli’s method with Bingo, and it works – the excess animals are relocated to Bandit’s place in exchange for his noisy toys. As it turns out, Bandit was just lonely and wanted some friends, and he’s thrilled to have some animals to care for, cooing “Oh you’re sooooooo bewdiful” to his new ponies and penguins.
