Bluey and Bingo are sitting at the table, not interested in their breakfast. Bandit is trying to get them to eat while cooking his own breakfast and talking on the phone. He’s negotiating the purchase of a second-hand surfboard. Chilli walks in and asks Bingo if she wants to practice her Show and Tell speech. Bingo shows her a crab claw, but doesn’t have anything to say about it. Chilli tries to help, but Bingo isn’t listening.
The family sits down to eat, and Bluey notices that Bandit has a different kind of tomato sauce than they do. He’s eating the regular sauce, while they have to eat the low-sugar kind. Bluey and Bingo get a taste of the good sauce, and this injustice is the last straw for Bluey. She decides to count how many times Bandit tells them what to do. When Bandit takes them to pick up the surfboard, he gives them lots of instructions, like getting in the car and buckling up. Bluey keeps track, and by the time she reaches nine, Bandit gets frustrated. He decides to argue with the Sat Nav and takes wrong turns on purpose, even though the kids try to convince him to follow the directions.
They end up at a cemetery, but eventually, Bluey talks Bandit into listening to the Sat Nav because it’s for a good reason. When they arrive at the seller’s house, Bandit and Bluey load up the surfboard while the seller talks to Bingo about her crab claw. The seller tells her what kind of crab it came from and shows her how to make the claw move by pulling the tendon. Later, at Kindy, Bingo gives a much more confident presentation of the crab claw. She shows her class how to make it click, and it’s a big hit.
