The Heelers are at the beach, where Chilli and the girls are having a great time. Chilli is teaching Bluey and Bingo how to play a game where they throw sticks at a rock balanced on a stick. The girls are missing the rock, but they’re laughing and having fun. Meanwhile, Bandit is sitting on the sidelines, looking sad and distracted.
Bingo notices a stick in the distance and asks Bandit if she can go get it. At first, he’s not paying attention, but when she finally gets through to him, Chilli tells him to let his bad mood go. Bingo convinces Bandit to race her to the stick, and she wins. Then, she starts building a bird out of sand, using the stick as the head. Chilli and Bluey keep playing their game, trying to hit the rock with their sticks. Bingo and Bandit go on a mission to find more sticks, but their fun is interrupted when some kids run by and accidentally destroy their sand bird, taking the stick with them.
Bandit tries to comfort Bingo, telling her that when you create something beautiful, it’s no longer yours. Bluey finally hits the rock and wins the game, but Bingo is still feeling down. Bluey tries to cheer her up by racing her, but Bingo’s not in the mood. Then, Bluey comes up with a clever idea – she mimics picking up Bingo’s bad mood, holding it in her hands, and then throwing it away into the sea. This silly gesture works, and Bingo starts to feel better. The girls run off together, happy again. Bandit follows their lead, symbolically throwing away his own bad mood, and the family can enjoy the rest of their beach trip together.
