The episode starts with Bluey, Bingo, and Chilli in the kitchen. Bingo is trying to reach the stubby coolers on top of the fridge because she’s about to play a game of having children. Bluey asks her mom if she’ll have kids one day, and Chilli tries to answer. Just then, Bandit walks into the kitchen with an empty glass, but Bluey and Bingo stop him and ask him to play with them. However, they can’t agree on a game – Bingo wants to play Mums and Dads, while Bluey wants to play Surprise. The girls explain their games, with Bingo assigning roles: she’s the mum, Bandit is the dad, and they have a baby to care for, which is a stubby cooler with a tennis ball inside. Meanwhile, Bluey has put on an elaborate ball blaster, complete with futuristic armor, planning to hide around the house and jump out to shoot Bandit until he makes it back to base.
Bingo asks Bandit to sing their baby to sleep, and Bluey yells that she’s ready. Bandit starts singing as he walks around the house, stopping to watch a wheelchair race on TV. Suddenly, Bluey jumps out from under a beanbag and starts shooting him with balls. She chases him through the house until he reaches the playroom and declares himself safe. Bluey runs off to hide again. Bandit hands the baby back to Bingo, but she announces that she’s had two more babies that need to be sung to sleep, and one of them needs to be dropped off at daycare. Bandit takes on the task, juggling three babies, and returns to the living room to watch more of the race. He leaves one baby on the beanbag as a daycare and answers the door when the bell rings, only to be shot by Bluey again. She chases him back to the playroom, where he calls safe and starts to gloat, but Bingo points out that he forgot a baby at daycare.
The game continues, with Bluey chasing Bandit through the house as he picks up the last baby. As he runs through the kitchen, he trips over a bucket of water and grabs the babies, holding them protectively against his chest. He curls up on the floor, singing, as Bluey continues to shoot him with balls. Chilli comments that this is what having kids is like. Bandit limps back to the playroom, where Bingo presents him with a fourth baby. Bluey announces that she’s going to hide again, and Bandit asks her to play the same game as them, but she refuses because she only has the ball blaster for a day. The game takes another turn when Bingo says one of the babies needs to go to the hospital because its head doesn’t fit on its body. Bandit offers to get a smaller stubby cooler, but Bingo refuses. He takes the baby to the hospital under the tree out back, where Bluey appears as the baby’s sister and offers to take care of it. The episode ends with Bandit watching the end of the race, Bingo feeding another baby, and Bluey showing her baby how to use the ball blaster. The scene then flashes forward to show an older Chilli answering the door to a grown-up Bluey, who invites her in. As Chilli and Bluey head out back, Bandit closes the door, only to hear the sound of a laser rifle charging and find a child waiting with a ball blaster.
