Bluey and Bingo finished their breakfast, and their dad reminded them to put their dishes in the dishwasher. When they asked why, he said it’s because he’s bigger and they should listen. This prompted the siblings to come up with a plan – they invented a giant imaginary friend named Tina. They demonstrated Tina’s power, and Bandit soon realized he was no match for her. He ended up putting the dishes in the dishwasher as the kids had instructed. Chilli also tried to convince Bluey and Bingo to take a bath, but they used Tina to get out of it, and Chilli found herself locked in a cupboard by the imaginary friend.
The kids continued to use Tina to get their parents to do their bidding. They had their parents acting as their slaves, and Bluey even insisted on being called “Bluey the Awesome”. Bandit tried to reason with Bluey, explaining that they wanted the kids to do as they were told for their own good. However, the kids didn’t listen. Later, Bluey got attacked by flies that were attracted to a jam sandwich on her back, and Bingo suffered the same fate. While the kids were distracted, Bandit took the opportunity to slam Tina with a cushion, and the parents carried her outside and locked her in the car. Their neighbor, Wendy, witnessed the commotion and gave them some space. But the kids soon came to Tina’s rescue, and she retaliated against the parents.
In the end, the parents pointed out that Tina smelled bad and had teeth falling out. The kids realized that Tina hadn’t brushed her teeth or taken a bath, and they understood that their parents had been trying to tell them something. They learned that everything their parents had said was for their own good, even if they didn’t always understand the reasons. The kids told Tina to let the family go, and that night, they had a fun bath time with Tina, brushing her teeth and washing her. Bluey and Bingo also started listening to their parents and doing what they were told. Bluey still liked being called “Bluey the Awesome”, though.
