Bluey - Work

Bluey and Bingo simulate a workday, with Dad portraying the supervisor of a drainpipe manufacturing plant. After impressive interviews, the sisters are hired. The dynamic shifts when Bluey assumes leadership, dismissing Dad for violating the strict "no dancing" policy.

Bluey and Bingo, dressed as a frog, arrive at the Waiting Room, eager to land a job. Bluey knocks on the door, and Bandit, playing the role of the boss, lets them in. Bluey announces that they’re there for the job interview. As they enter the Pipe Factory, Bluey requests that there be no dancing in the workplace. During the interview, Bandit explains that the factory produces drainpipes and that they’re extremely busy. Bingo responds with a series of ribbits, and despite this, Bandit decides to hire them both.

As new pipe-makers, Bluey and Bingo get to work. Bandit is busy updating the factory’s website, while Bingo is occupied licking the drainpipes. When Bandit checks in on them, Bluey proudly shows off the four drainpipes she’s already built, earning her some dollarbucks. Bingo also receives dollarbucks for her efforts, despite her unorthodox approach. Later, Bandit catches Bluey relaxing in the Lounge Area, but just as he’s about to fire her, he’s interrupted by another phone call. Seizing the opportunity, Bluey takes charge and declares herself the boss. She puts Bingo to work, asking her to throw papers on the floor and use a drainpipe as a musical instrument.

As the boss, Bluey exercises her newfound authority, demoting Bandit to a servant and instructing him to perform various tasks, including cleaning the windows with his bottom and mopping the floor with his tongue. However, when Bandit is caught dancing by Bluey, he’s fired and forced to leave the Reception Room. Outside, Bandit’s luck takes a turn for the worse, and he’s left trying to sell spare drainpipes in the rain. But things start to look up when Chilli, accompanied by a green umbrella, encourages him to dance, and he’s soon discovered by the famous ballerina Pavlova. With Pavlova’s dance partner injured, Bandit is invited to be her new partner, and they perform together at the Outside Theatre, with Bluey and Bingo watching from the audience. As Bandit takes the stage, he gives a thumbs up to Bingo, and Bluey chats with a teddy bear about her former coworker’s newfound success.
