“Hooray!” Bluey fans, it’s official: the all-new feature-length Bluey movie will make its theatrical debut only in cinemas on August 6, 2027! The announcement came straight from Bluey’s official channel today, and we’re over the moon with excitement.

What’s in Store (Familiar Faces, Bigger Smiles)
Written and directed by Joe Brumm, Bluey’s creator, the CG-animated film continues the adventures of Bluey, Bingo, Chilli, and Bandit—with the same heart and humor we adore.
The feature comes from Ludo Studio in collaboration with BBC Studios, with Walt Disney Studios handling theatrical distribution. Co-director Richard Jeffery and producer Amber Naismith (who worked on Happy Feet and The LEGO Movie) are also on board.
After its time on the big screen, the movie will be available to stream on Disney+, and will also air on ABC iView and ABC Kids in Australia.
