Bluey is at the park, trying to master riding her bike, but it’s not going well. She’s getting more and more frustrated, and eventually, she gives up and sits down next to her dad, Bandit. Bluey wonders why she can’t just pick it up right away, and Bandit explains that things don’t always work out that easily. As they sit there, they notice the other kids in the park are struggling with their own challenges. Bingo is trying to get a drink from the water fountain, but the timer keeps running out before she can get any water. Bentley is attempting to reach the monkey bars, but they’re just out of her grasp. Muffin is having trouble putting her arm through the hole of her backpack.
As the kids make their second attempts, Bandit and Bluey cheer them on. Bingo tries again to get a drink, but misses the water once more. Bentley jumps for the monkey bars, but misses and lands on the ground. Muffin spins around in circles, trying to get her arm through the backpack hole, but ends up falling over. The frustration starts to build, and Muffin has a meltdown, yelling “why won’t you go on my back!?” Bentley jumps again and misses, hitting the ground and exclaiming “why can’t I do it straight away!?” – which Bluey notices is the same thing she said earlier. Bingo fails to get a drink from the fountain for the third time, and says sadly “I’ll never be able to drink water again.” Bluey wants to go help her friends, but Bandit holds her back, telling her to watch instead.
As the kids stand there, looking disappointed, they slowly start to move back towards the things they wanted to accomplish. Muffin crawls on the floor and eventually manages to put her backpack on. Bentley climbs onto the frame and makes it onto the monkey bars. Bingo gets the water to drip from the fountain onto the floor – it’s not ideal, but it’s still a success. Seeing her friends persevere and succeed motivates Bluey to give bike riding another try. She puts on her helmet and gets back on her bike, ready to give it another go.
