Chilli heads out for the night to attend a baby shower, leaving Bandit in charge of dinner and bedtime duties. As she’s about to leave, Bluey asks her not to go, saying she’ll miss her. To take the girls’ minds off their missing mom, Bandit decides to break out some games. First up is ‘Follow the Leader’, which quickly devolves into chaos as the girls refuse to follow Bandit’s lead, resulting in lots of laughter.
Next, they head to the swing for a round of ‘Come Here’ and ‘Go Away’, which always seems to bring a smile. Despite the fun, Bluey is still missing her mom and begs Bandit to call Chilli. Bandit pretends to make the call, saying “I’m calling her… It’s ringing…” in an attempt to placate her. When Bluey asks what a baby shower is, Bandit feigns ignorance, suggesting it might be about showering a dirty baby. The girls explain it to him, and Bluey gets an idea for a game of her own, which brings a visible look of relief to Bandit’s face. However, Bingo soon pipes up with her favorite question, “How does a baby get in there?”, before getting distracted by a swing twirl.
Bluey sets up her own baby shower with her toys, with Bingo playing the role of Snowdrop the Toddler and Bluey acting as the mom. They play games like guessing the baby’s sex, and Bingo even suggests a pregnant-lady obstacle course. Meanwhile, Bandit and Bingo team up to make tempura battered prawns for dinner. By the time it’s ready, everyone is happy and full. Later that night, Chilli returns home to kiss the girls goodnight, and Bluey’s faint smile suggests she felt her mom’s goodnight kiss. Bandit, exhausted, is lying on the floor.
