The morning started with a dispute between Bluey and Bandit over whether he had broken wind in her face while she was eating blackberry jam on toast. Chilli intervened, settling the argument with a wooden spoon, and announced that they would have a family meeting to discuss the issue. At the dinner table, Chilli laid out the rules for the meeting: one person would talk at a time, they would use the code word “fluffy” to refer to Bandit’s alleged flatulence, everyone would tell the truth, and they would address Chilli as “Your Honour”.
Bluey began by acting out a scene with her toys, using a dollhouse and anime dolls to recreate the events of the morning. She claimed that Bandit had gotten out of bed and fluffied in her face. Bandit then took his turn, replacing the orange anime doll with a plastic one and describing his version of events, which didn’t include breaking wind. However, the rest of the family disagreed with his account, and a flashback revealed that Bandit had indeed fluffied in an elevator while playing “Pull my Finger” with Bingo.
Bluey presented evidence of the foods that might have contributed to Bandit’s flatulence, rating their “fluffy factor” from 3/10 for baked beans on wheat toast to 10/10 for a petrol station pie. Later, Bluey asked Bingo if she had seen Bandit fluffie in her face, and Bingo said yes, earning her a lollipop. However, when Chilli asked Bingo if she had lied for the reward, Bingo admitted that she had, and returned the lollipop. Chilli told Bluey that this hadn’t helped her case, but assured her that the truth would set her free.
As the meeting continued, Chilli shared her own witness account, describing how she had heard Bandit getting out of bed and sliding the nightstand to reach his tablet. When she tried to recreate the sound, she realized that it might have been something else entirely. Bandit panicked and made a run for it, but the kids caught up to him and he eventually admitted to fluffing in Bluey’s face. Chilli confirmed that the truth had indeed set Bluey free, and sentenced Bandit to an hour of horsey ride as punishment. However, just as Bandit was about to start his sentence, he asked Bluey what she had been doing at his level that morning, and she admitted to playing games on the tablet, which wasn’t allowed. As a result, Chilli also sentenced Bluey to the same punishment. After they both apologized and hugged, Chilli hastily asked them to leave the room, and it soon became clear why: she had fluffied herself.
