It’s Chloe’s seventh birthday, and Bluey and Bingo are helping Chilli wrap up her present. As they finish up, Bingo realizes she’s not invited to the party because Chloe is only inviting seven people. Feeling left out, Bingo stays behind with Bandit while the others get ready to leave. As she’s sitting on the verandah, she finds a mysterious feather and decides to use it to make things heavy. She tries it out on the sticky tape, and to her surprise, it works. Excited by her new discovery, she dubs the feather her Featherwand.
As the morning chaos ensues, Bandit is trying to make Bluey’s breakfast, but everything seems to be going wrong. The box of cereal is too heavy for him to lift, and when he tries to scoop out some cereal with his hands, the bowl becomes too heavy and sends him tumbling to the ground. Meanwhile, Bingo is sneaking around the house, using her Featherwand to make all sorts of things heavy, including Bluey’s toothbrush, Chilli’s pen, and even the spoon Bandit is trying to pick up with a broom. The family is in disarray as they try to figure out what’s going on.
As the chase continues, Bingo uses her Featherwand to make the yoga ball heavy, forcing Chilli and Bluey to dodge it. Bluey comes up with a plan to distract Bingo while Bandit sneaks out to the car with the present. However, Bingo is one step ahead and makes herself heavy, then makes the car keys heavy when Chilli tries to grab them. Just when it seems like all hope is lost, Pat intervenes, but Bingo makes his hat heavy, sending him tumbling to the ground. In the end, Bingo uses her Featherwand to make Chloe’s present heavy, and Bluey and Chilli surrender. But in a surprising twist, Bingo decides to unheavy everything and lets Bluey go to the party. When Bluey returns, Bingo is waiting with her Featherwand, and they use it to play a trick on Bandit, sealing the toilet seat shut and forcing him to rush outside to find a bush to pee in, where he’s spotted by Wendy.
