It’s a lovely day at the Heeler house, and Bingo is making the most of it by busting out her best floss moves. Bluey pops in and invites her to play “Grannies,” but Bingo is too caught up in her dancing to join in. According to Bluey, grannies don’t floss, but Bingo isn’t convinced.
Before long, the duo transforms into their granny personas, Janet the kind granny (Bluey) and Rita the hard-of-hearing granny (Bingo). They head to the shop, where Chilli is busy cleaning the oven, and start searching for baked beans. However, the shop is closed, and Rita’s hearing impairment leads to a bit of a mishap – she accidentally hits the shopkeeper. Chilli soon finds herself in the middle of their antics, as Janet takes a nap and Rita walks out of the shop empty-handed, or so it seems – her jacket is actually stuffed with cans of baked beans. As they make their escape, Janet slips on the beans, and Rita breaks out into a flossing routine.
Bluey scolds Bingo for not playing the game properly, but Bingo insists that grannies can indeed floss. The debate continues, with the girls asking their dad, Bandit, if grannies can floss, and he suggests they ask their Nana. They jump on Faceytalk with Nana, who initially struggles to get into view, and ask her about flossing. Nana and Grandad Bob give it a try, but they’re not very good at it, and Bluey teases Bingo about it. However, Bluey later has a change of heart and decides to teach Nana and Grandad how to floss. With some practice, they finally get the hang of it, and Bingo is overjoyed to see that grannies can floss after all. The episode ends with the whole family having a blast, including Bandit and Chilli watching the girls and their grandparents flossing away, with Chilli remarking that they’ll keep flossing even when they’re old. As the girls continue to play, they get back into their granny characters, driving their toy car around the backyard, crashing into the sandbox, and flossing some more.
