Bluey - Handstand

During her birthday celebration, Bingo tries to do a handstand but feels unnoticed when her efforts go unacknowledged. Meanwhile, Nana grapples with her own feelings of redundancy as she realizes her help is not needed. Eventually, Bingo and Nana connect, and Nana observes Bingo successfully completing her handstand.

It’s Bingo’s birthday party, and she’s in the kitchen trying to do a perfect handstand. She gives it a go, but it’s not easy. Meanwhile, Lucky and Rusty are playing with a whistleball, throwing it through the open kitchen window. Missy is nearby, playing with a pull-back car, and Bandit is cooking some pikelets. Bluey and Mackenzie are having a race, adding to the lively atmosphere.

Bingo takes a short break, straining her hands, as Chilli serves the freshly cooked pikelets. Buddy sneaks in from the balcony and helps himself to some whipped cream. Bingo tries again, taking a power pose, and then attempts a running start. Elsewhere, Honey and Snickers are having a water fight, and Indy sets up a line of dominos with a gap big enough for Missy’s pull-back car to fit through. Trixie blows up a balloon, which ends up on the balcony. After a few attempts, Bingo finally manages to do a handstand, but unfortunately, no one has seen it. She asks Trixie and Buddy if they’ve seen her handstand, but they haven’t. However, she does get her dad’s attention.

As the party continues, the pikelets start to burn, and Bandit rushes to attend to them. Bingo does another handstand, but Chilli has stepped away. Feeling sad, Bingo leaves the kitchen. The other kids are still busy with their activities – Lucky and Rusty are playing with the whistleball, Honey and Snickers are refilling their water blasters, and Trixie is using a cooler as a stool to tie a balloon. Winton tries to build a tower again, and Stripe attempts to microwave his frozen pies. Eventually, Nana offers to help various kids, but they all decline. However, Nana does notice Bingo and watches as she does another handstand. As the party winds down, Chilli calls for the birthday girl, but she’s with Nana, who is proudly watching her do a handstand. The cake is ready, and Stripe brings out the steaming hot pies. With Nana’s support, Bingo finally gets the recognition she was looking for, and she celebrates her fifth birthday with her loved ones.
