In the Heeler house, Bandit and Bingo were in the middle of a game when Bandit suddenly clutched his aching back and suggested they play a game where he could just lie still. This led to a game of pretend hospital, with some reluctance from Bandit. Bingo welcomed “Telemachus” – her name for Bandit in this game – and tried to reassure him that there was no need to be nervous.
Before long, Doctor Bluey burst into the room, needle at the ready, and gave Bandit a jab, accompanied by a loud “DING!!!” Nurse Bingo was on hand to comfort the patient, cooing “Ohhhhhh, brave boy!” as she applied a plaster. Dr. Bluey then asked the ‘big blue guy’ if he had a baby in his tummy, before giving him another needle and ordering an X-ray. The X-ray revealed a surprising diagnosis: a possum-shaped cat inside Bandit’s tummy. Nurse Bingo tried to reassure him, saying “Don’t worry, sweetie.”
The prognosis didn’t look good, and Dr. Bluey decided they needed to operate immediately. However, the operation didn’t quite go as planned, and they accidentally removed an octopus instead of the cat. Dr. Bluey tried to use a hammer to dislodge the cat, but it bit her, and she declared that there was nothing more they could do. Just as Dr. Bluey was about to give up, Nurse Bingo took another look at the X-ray and spotted a mouse inside Bandit’s tummy as well. They used some cheese to lure out the mouse, and the cat chased after it. In the end, Bandit was “cured”, although not before receiving one final needle.
