Bluey - Library

As Stripe and Muffin drive to Bluey’s house, Muffin mentions she wants to write a letter to the toilet fairy. Stripe drives through an orange traffic light, prompting Muffin to remind him that orange means stop, just like red. Stripe claims it was a special case, and when Muffin asks if she’s special, he tells her she’s the most special kid in the whole wide world.

When they arrive, Muffin bangs on the door, and Chilli answers, putting down a towel for her to wipe her feet. However, Muffin refuses, saying she’s special, while Stripe wipes his feet on the towel. Inside, Muffin explores Bluey’s library, checking out the reception area, book-returner, bookshelf, beanbag area, and toddler-time area. Bluey takes Muffin’s picture and prints out a library card, but Muffin wants a pink one instead of the orange one she’s given. As Bingo reads an animal pop-up book, Muffin starts riding her Cat Squad motorbike, making loud noises, until Bluey switches it off and gives her a pink library card. Muffin wants to read the animal pop-up book, but Bluey says she can’t have it because Bingo is in the middle of reading it.

Later, in the kitchen, Muffin tells Stripe that Bluey and Bingo won’t play with her, so Chilli encourages Bluey to include Muffin in their game. However, Bluey says Muffin’s not playing properly. Chilli suggests that Bluey and Bingo let Muffin play however she wants, and Bingo gives her the animal pop-up book. At the library, Muffin wants to scan more than three books, but Bluey sets a limit. Muffin reads an animal sound book in the beanbag area, and when the book “eats” Bingo’s teddy, Bluey tells the toddlers that it’s okay. When it’s time to return the books, Muffin wants to keep them all, but Bluey reminds her that she has to return them, even if she’s special. Muffin gets upset, and Bluey and Bingo walk away, sad. Stripe talks to Muffin about following rules and being special to her family, but not to everyone else. Muffin eventually returns the books, turns off the volume on the animal poem book, and tells everyone to be quiet in the library. They all gather to read a space book together. On the way home, Muffin borrows the animal sound book, and Stripe stops at an orange light.
