The episode starts with Bluey approaching Chilli to ask if she’s free to play a game of ‘Queens’. Chilli turns down the invitation, explaining that she’s busy cleaning up lorikeet poo from the deck. Bluey suggests that playing might be more fun, but Chilli assures her that she’s not afraid of hard work. Shortly after, Bingo runs up to Bluey and asks if she wants to play Queens, and Bluey enthusiastically agrees.
Bluey takes on the role of the Queen’s butler, announcing the Queen’s arrival while playing a flute. Bingo enters the scene, acting as the Queen, and Chilli plays along, trying to get the Queen’s attention. Bingo greets Chilli and then heads towards a throne, with Bluey escorting her. However, Bingo suddenly stops and complains that her ‘royal bottom’ is itchy, demanding that Bluey scratch it. Bluey giggles and obliges, before helping Bingo onto the throne. As Bingo sits down, she tells Bluey to leave, but then quickly calls her back. Bluey tries to ask why she’s been summoned, but Bingo interrupts, upset that Bluey has stepped on the ‘royal rainbow thing’. Bluey apologizes and brings over two foam blocks to step on, avoiding the ‘royal rainbow thing’. With that resolved, Bluey asks again why Bingo called her back, and Bingo explains that she wants to sing a song and needs Bluey to write it down.
As the game continues, Bluey is tasked with being the Queen’s scribe, and Bingo begins to sing her song. The scene is filled with the imaginative play and creativity of the two sisters, as they fully immerse themselves in their roles. With Bluey’s help, Bingo is able to express her royal decrees and creativity, and the game of ‘Queens’ becomes a fun and engaging adventure for both sisters.
