The Heelers are in a rush to get out the door, as they’re meeting Judo at the park and don’t want to be late. Before they leave, Bluey and Bingo take a quick glance at the intricate toy cable car system they’ve set up inside the house. However, Bluey is hesitant to leave without her hat, so she sets off to find it. Meanwhile, Bingo asks how long a minute is, and Chilli reminds her that she needs to brush her teeth, which she hasn’t done since the night before. Chilli times Bingo as she brushes her teeth, but things quickly get chaotic when the girls throw a sticky gecko, nicknamed “Gecky,” onto the ceiling.
As the game dictates that it can’t end until Gecky falls and is caught, Chilli takes on catching duties while Bingo continues to brush her teeth and Bluey searches for her hat. Bluey checks out a photograph of Grandad in his soldier uniform and asks about a quote he used to say, “hurry up and wait.” Bingo returns with a mouthful of toothpaste, and Chilli has to abandon the banana Bingo was eating to try and catch Gecky. Bluey knocks down the hat rack, causing more chaos, and then delivers the banana to Chilli, who is still trying to catch Gecky. Chilli reminds everyone that they need to leave in one minute, but Bluey wants a hat like Grandad’s, complete with a badge. Bingo returns with rollerskates and clean teeth, and Chilli has to time her while also trying to catch Gecky and help Bluey find her badge.
As the chaos reaches its peak, Chilli uses Chattermax, a toy, to try and get Gecky down, but it ends up launching a barrage of “chattersnax” into her face, knocking her down. Chilli reaches her breaking point and decides they’re not going to the park, but then changes her mind and tells everyone to get out the door immediately. Bluey asks why Chilli is in such a rush, and Chilli explains that she doesn’t want to be late for Judo, as it’s not polite to keep others waiting. Just as they’re about to leave, Chilli reveals that Judo has been asking for a playdate for a long time, and she wants the girls to have a good time. As they finally exit the house, Chilli comes back in and catches Gecky, which had been stuck on the ceiling. However, in a final twist, Bingo is seen throwing Gecky back up onto the ceiling as the episode ends.
