Bandit pulls into the car park of a local Chinese takeaway with Bluey and Bingo in tow. He heads inside to collect their dinner, but soon discovers that the spring rolls are missing. The staff informs him that it’ll be another five minutes, so Bandit and the kids wait. The kids ask what they can do to pass the time, and Bandit suggests playing “Dad Reads the Newspaper.” However, Bluey is thirsty and wants a juice from the takeaway. Instead, Bandit turns on an exterior tap for her to drink from, which gives her an idea – she wants a tap shower, but Bandit quickly shuts that down. Meanwhile, Bingo asks if she can eat the plants in the drain, comparing them to the plant lettuce they can eat.
As Bandit tries to turn off the tap, Bingo asks for a drink, and then the girls decide to play restaurant while Bandit checks on the spring rolls. Bingo tries to take a bite of the takeaway food, but finds it too spicy. Bandit has to hold her mouth under the tap to cool it down, which works, but now Bingo needs to use the toilet. The closest toilets are too far away, so Bandit suggests a “bush-wee” as the only option. While Bandit is busy with Bingo, Bluey turns on the tap again, causing water to spray everywhere, and crows fly down to eat the takeaway food. After Bingo finishes, Bandit chases off the crows and turns off the tap. Exhausted, he sits down, but Bingo asks him where the first baby came from, leaving Bandit unsure of how to respond.
Just then, Bandit decides to leave and head home, but as he does, he slips on a wet menu and spills all the food. The takeaway worker comes out and informs them that the spring rolls will be another five minutes, offering each of them a fortune cookie as compensation. Bluey’s cookie reads, “Flowers may bloom again, but a person never has a chance to be young again.” Bluey asks what it means, and Bandit ponders the question before finally deciding to let the kids have a shower under the tap, just like Bluey initially suggested.
