Bingo starts the weekend morning by having breakfast with Bandit, while Bluey bursts in with a pretend letter for her dad, complete with a claw hand and a drumstick inside the envelope. This prompts an impromptu jam session.
As the morning progresses, Chilli heads out for a run, and Bandit tries to relax in front of the TV to watch the cricket. However, the kids are climbing all over him, so he gives up and joins in their game of “Statues” instead. During the game, Bandit needs to take a break to use the bathroom, and the girls tag along. When they resume the game, Bluey, acting as the shopkeeper, sells Bandit a “non-magical statue” – which is actually Bingo. While Bandit steps away to get his change, the “statue” suddenly moves, and Bluey just shrugs it off, telling him he’s probably imagining things.
The game continues, with the “magical statue” moving outside, and the girls playing a game of ding-dong-dash, knocking on Bandit until he catches them and chases them around the garden. Meanwhile, Bingo discovers a leaf insect in the back garden and tries to get her dad’s attention, but he’s too busy chasing after the “shopkeeper” to notice. The bug eventually flies away just as Chilli returns from her run, and she finds Bingo waving at the sky. Later, after their bath and bedtime routine, Chilli tucks the girls in, and Bandit apologizes to Bingo for not hearing her earlier. They all recount their crazy day with the “statue”, and Bingo reveals she was the statue all along, cheering up and drifting off to sleep happily with her sister.
