At the Heeler house, Bandit and Chilli start building a new swing for the back porch. Chilli is more worried about following the instructions exactly, while Bandit is more relaxed. Meanwhile, Bluey and Bingo are having fun with the packing materials. They start by swimming on the bubble wrap, with Bluey as the mum and Bingo as her daughter. Then, they play “frog-dogs” on a piece of cardboard, and after that, they use cardboard tubes as tails to become lizards.
As the game goes on, they become dinosaurs, then birds, as “baby” Bingo grows up. They also play as creatures living in snow, monkeys, and eventually, cave dogs, using a big box as their cave. Bluey draws “cave paintings” on the box with felt pens, showing all the games they’ve played and depicting their parents as the ones who gave them all the materials. This touches Chilli and Bandit, and they decide to finish their project without arguing anymore. When they’re done, they throw the leftover packaging to the girls.
Bluey and Bingo use the packaging to build a city, and Bingo says she’s now a grown-up. Bluey, now the “Mother”, says goodbye as Bingo takes off in her spaceship. But then Bluey isn’t sure what to do with herself. Bandit and Chilli invite her to join them on the finished porch swing, and all three sit together, watching Bingo zoom around the yard. As the sun sets, Bandit says “This is heaven!” and they all enjoy the happy end to their day.
