Bluey - Hairdressers

Bluey and Bingo are busy in the playroom, each doing their own thing. After playing with a bouncy ball, Bluey asks Bingo if she wants to play a game. However, Bingo is struggling to find her voice, so Bluey decides to start a game of Hairdressers instead. She begins doing Chilli’s hair, chatting with her mum as she works. Bluey asks Chilli if she wants both ears to be pink or one pink and one green, but interrupts her before she can respond. Chilli mentions that Bingo has been having trouble finding her voice, and Bluey asks if she’s found hers, joking that she needs to find her ears too – which are, of course, on top of her head.

Just then, Burt Handsome, the most handsome man in Queensland, arrives. Bingo tries to speak up, but still can’t find her voice, so she can’t ask him if he has an appointment or tell him to take a seat. Burt starts talking to Chilli, asking the girls to make him look even more handsome, despite already being the most handsome man in the house. He boasts about his new house and all the trophies he’s won for being so handsome. However, things take a turn when the girls discover he has a nit. They quickly retreat, and Burt becomes flustered, admitting that he lives with his mum. The girls send him to the shower, a cold one, to help get rid of the nits. They then try various methods to remove the nits, including using a rubber hammer, fly swatter, and even a nit bird. Bluey asks Bingo to grab a cricket bat, but before she can, Bingo runs back inside, only to find that the nits have disappeared.

But then, a few more nits appear on Burt’s fur, and Chilli encourages Bingo to speak up. Bluey starts to talk for her, but Chilli reminds her to let Bingo finish her sentence. Bingo finally finds her voice, exclaiming “I want to um, tie Dad upside down from the tree and throw water balloons at him and then cover him in nit powder, which is flour, and then rake him with the rake!” The girls put their plan into action, hanging Burt from the tree and throwing “nit bombs” at him, covering him in flour, and raking him to remove the nits. After their successful, if unorthodox, treatment, Burt pays and leaves, exhausted. As he sits down next to Chilli for a cup of tea, Bluey asks Bingo what game they should play next, and Bingo has an idea.
