Bandit kicks things off with a bold claim that he knows everything. As they drive to the dump, Bluey and Bingo play “rainbow cars,” a game where they try to spot cars in the colors of the rainbow, in order. Bluey also lays out an elaborate plan to drive the car with Bingo, complete with a scheme to avoid getting caught by the police. Bandit is impressed, admitting that their plan might just work.
The girls are convinced that Bandit does indeed know everything, and they quiz him with questions. He answers them all, except for Bluey’s query about where she was before she was born. They also discuss superheroes and decide that Bandit is a “goodie” and the best dad in the world, thanks in part to his skill with the window washer’s “squirty-thing.” When they arrive at the dump, Bandit starts tossing items into the rubbish piles. As he carries a box to the paper recycling section, one of Bluey’s drawings falls to the ground. Bluey notices and accuses Bandit of throwing it away. Bingo tries to comfort her, and the girls suddenly decide that Bandit is a “baddie” and not the best dad after all.
Bandit apologizes and puts Bluey’s drawings back in the car. He admits that he’s not the best dad, or the best driver, and that he doesn’t know everything. He makes the girls laugh by reminding them of their police-escape plan. Bluey asks why he was throwing her drawings away, and Bandit explains that he was going to recycle them so they could be turned into new paper for other kids to draw on. Bluey agrees to let him recycle her drawings, and on the way home, they go through the car wash, which the girls call the “hairy monster” attack. As they drive past the city skyline, the girls decide that Bandit is indeed the best, and he celebrates by honking the horn and spraying the window washer.
