Bandit had had enough of Bluey and Bingo’s “big bum” game, so he suggested they play something new – The Quiet Game. The goal was for the girls to stay silent for as long as possible. Just as they started, Chilli headed off to work to cover a shift for a sick colleague, and she asked Bandit to pick up a birthday present for Muffin at the store. The problem was, the girls knew exactly what Muffin wanted, but they weren’t talking.
Bandit took the girls to the store, and he couldn’t help but have a little fun with the quiet game along the way. When they arrived, they met Alfie, a nervous young employee on his first day of work. Bandit tried to get the girls to break their silence, but they refused, so he had to interpret their charades instead. At first, he got it wrong and sent Alfie on a wild goose chase for a toy that didn’t exist. Eventually, he figured out that Muffin wanted a Moonlight Unicorn toy, but he still didn’t know which one to get. The girls’ charades continued, and Bandit was determined to get it right, remembering how his niece Muffin could get upset if she didn’t get exactly what she wanted.
As Bandit struggled to decipher the girls’ actions, Alfie returned and offered to help. With a small crowd gathering to watch, Alfie carefully considered the girls’ pantomime and eventually guessed what they were trying to say. Bandit was thrilled, and the girls got so excited that they finally broke their silence, ending the game. Bandit praised Alfie to the store manager, and the young dog beamed with pride. Back at home, Bandit and the girls sang as they wrapped Muffin’s present together. When Chilli returned, she commented on the noise, but Bandit was just happy to be able to hear his daughters’ voices loud and clear.
