The episode starts with the whole family playing pretend in the living room. Bandit is driving the bus, and Chilli is a passenger on her way to the museum. But what the kids don’t know is that Chilli has a secret crush on the bus driver. Bluey and Bingo join in, dressed up as their granny characters, Janet and Rita. They make their way to their seats, causing a bit of trouble along the way.
As they ride the bus, Bluey, as Janet, talks to Chilli and tries to get her to admit her secret love for the bus driver. Bluey starts pulling the stop cord over and over, which delays the trip and frustrates Bandit. He warns them that if they keep causing trouble, he’ll kick them off at the museum. But then, things take a turn when Bingo’s pretend snake, Boopsie, “attacks” Bandit, and he falls off the bus. Bingo takes over driving and starts ignoring all the traffic rules, which alarms Chilli and Bluey.
Chilli helps Bandit get back on the bus, but then Bingo says she’s “eaten” the brakes, and they realize they’re out of control. Mum and Dad grab the kids and jump off the bus to escape. After they dust themselves off, Bluey asks Chilli if she finally confessed her love. Chilli says she did, but then reveals that Bandit is already “married” to a giraffe. Bluey and Bingo get frustrated and “attack” Bandit, ending the episode in a playful and chaotic scene.
