The episode starts with the sound of the doorbell at the Heelers’ house. Uncle Rad is at the door, and he plays a trick on Bingo by hiding behind an armchair and surprising her when she answers. After some playful time with the kids, during which he mistakes Bingo for Bluey, he tells them he’ll be putting them to bed tonight. Bluey isn’t thrilled about this, but before she can react, Frisky, her godmother, arrives at the door.
Uncle Rad and Frisky lock eyes, and it’s clear Rad is surprised while Frisky seems amused. It turns out Frisky didn’t get the message that Uncle Rad would be babysitting, but the kids persuade her to stay, and they all agree that both Rad and Frisky will babysit together. As the parents leave, Bluey says a sad goodbye, and when asked why she’s not keen on babysitter putdowns, she explains she had a bad experience before and finds it too different. Uncle Rad reassures her that he and Frisky will make it just like her parents do, but Bluey is still unsure. They decide to play a game of 20 questions to get to know each other better.
The game reveals some common interests between Rad and Frisky, like using almond milk shampoo, but also leads to some awkward moments. Afterward, they play a backyard game, with Frisky saving the day by suggesting a game of “torch mouse” using Rad’s keys. Later, during teeth-cleaning time, Rad tries to help Bluey feel more comfortable with the babysitter putdown by showing her that new experiences can be fun. Story time follows, with Rad as a dragon-punching prince and Frisky as a princess who isn’t interested in being rescued. The girls insist on a happy ending, with the prince and princess getting married, which delights Uncle Rad. As the night goes on, Bluey opens up to Frisky, and they have a heart-to-heart about giving things another try. Bluey eventually falls asleep, holding Frisky’s hand, and later wakes up to find Rad and Frisky outside, talking and laughing together, which makes her feel happy and secure enough to go back to bed.
