The family is at the museum gift shop, where Bingo is reading a book about space, the same one from her Sleepytime adventures. Muffin picks out a toy dinosaur from the bin, while Bluey has her eye on a pin impression, but she doesn’t have any money. Bandit mentions that not having money is often considered bad luck. Just then, Muffin accidentally gets her toy dinosaur stuck to her ear.
After leaving the museum, they walk past an ice cream cart, and Bluey and Bingo start begging for a treat. However, Bandit says no, remembering they had ice cream the day before and not wanting them to have too much sugar. Stripe, feeling sorry for Muffin after her toy dinosaur mishap, buys her a cone of tutti frutti ice cream anyway. Bluey and Bingo ask for a lick, but Muffin refuses to share. As Muffin and Stripe walk away, Bandit changes his mind and decides to buy his daughters ice cream after all. Bingo wants a large mango ice cream, but Bandit gets her an extra-small one instead. Bluey chooses strawberry, and as they wait for the credit card machine, Bandit decides to treat himself to a tub of chocolate ice cream.
As they sit on a bench, Bluey and Bingo try to share a lick of each other’s ice cream, but they can’t agree on how to do it. They spin around in circles, trying to reach each other’s treats, and eventually, they end up walking all over the place – up the stairs, through the public beach, the sprinkler-park, the garden, and the café, before ending up back where they started. By then, their ice cream has melted, and they ask Bandit for more, but he says no, it’s not his fault they melted theirs. Bluey is disappointed, but Bandit eventually offers to share his own chocolate ice cream with them. Bluey declares it’s even better than mango, and they all enjoy it together. Bluey feels bad for Bandit, but he’s fine, and Bingo teases that it’s his job as the “big daddy man” to share his ice cream with them.
