The episode starts with Chilli reading a bedtime story to Bingo about a baby and a mother chicken. Meanwhile, Bandit puts Bluey to bed, and despite initial complaints, she quickly falls asleep. Bandit says goodnight to Bingo as Chilli finishes the book. Before leaving, Bingo asks for another book she hid under her pillow, this one about space. Chilli agrees after some pleading from Bingo.
As they go through the space book, Chilli asks Bingo to identify planets, and Bingo correctly points out the Sun. Afterward, it’s time for Bingo to sleep, but not before Chilli finds Floppy on the floor and hands it to her. Bingo wants to have a “big girl sleep” and wake up in her own bed. Chilli encourages her and reminds her, “I’m always here when you need me.” Bingo closes her eyes and falls asleep.
In her dream, the Earth on the space book cover hatches, and Bingo finds herself inside, alongside Floppy, who hatches from the Moon. They float towards each other and share a hug. As they look at the Sun, they float towards it, passing by a already hatched Venus. Back in reality, Bluey’s bed is empty, and she’s made her way to the parents’ room, asking Chilli for a glass of water.
After Chilli fulfills her request, she finds Bluey sleeping on her side of the bed. Chilli then heads to the children’s bedroom and rests on Bluey’s bed, trying to cover herself with the tiny blanket. As Chilli gets comfortable, Bingo gets out of her bed and starts “floating” in her dream. In the dream, Bingo and Floppy find Uranus, which Bingo describes as soft and cuddly. She lies on it like a bed and pulls the planet’s surface beside her like a blanket. In reality, Bingo ends up in her parents’ room, lying between Bluey and Bandit, and pulling the blanket, starting a tug-of-war between the freezing Bluey and Bandit.
As the tug-of-war continues, Bingo feels overjoyed in her dream, rolling around and laughing. Eventually, Bluey and Bandit pull the blanket simultaneously, launching Bingo in the air. Bingo and Floppy leave Uranus and head to Jupiter, where Bingo plays with the planet’s surface, slapping it and finding it’s fluid. In reality, Bandit is being smacked in the face while he sleeps. Bingo then dives feet-first onto Jupiter’s surface, kicking Bandit’s stomach, making him roll over. Bluey joins in, and both girls start running and hopping on Jupiter’s surface, kicking Bandit’s back.
As Bandit tries to swat at the kicking, he shoves Bluey away, and in the dream, Bluey gets pushed off by one of Jupiter’s moons. Bingo continues running on the surface, happy and carefree, until she sees the Great Red Spot and jumps into it, causing Bandit to wake up abruptly, clutching his crotch. In the dream, Bingo and Floppy find themselves in the center of Jupiter, cuddling its solid core, just like Bingo holds onto Bandit as he carries her back to her bed.
On the way back, Bandit finds Bluey in the toilet, asking him to sing to her. Bandit reluctantly sings “99 Bottles of thing on the Wall” as they both struggle to stay awake. Unbeknownst to them, Bingo “floats” away in her dream, back to her parents’ room. They return to the parents’ room, where Bandit is surprised to find Bingo on the bed again. Bluey gets into the bed to join her sister, and Bandit lies down on the floor, covering himself with a pair of underwear. However, he gets kicked by Bluey as she pulls herself closer to the bed’s edge and rolls off, landing on Bandit.
In her dream, Bingo finds herself on Pluto, holding onto Floppy. As the planets revolve, the light of the Sun appears, and Bingo sets off towards it. In reality, Bingo gets out of her parents’ bed and walks to her own bed. In the dream, she passes by Saturn and reacts with awe at its rings, which are filled with thousands of Floppys. Bingo’s Floppy is also amazed and points to the ring. Bingo takes this as a sign that Floppy wants to join the others, and they share a farewell hug and wave goodbye as Floppy floats off to join its brethren.
Bingo is saddened by the loss of Floppy, but then she sees a comet carrying her towards the Sun. She jumps off the comet and lands on Mercury, witnessing the Sun’s greatness and warmth. As she looks back at her shattered Earth, she says, “I have to go, I’m a big girl now.” The Sun, in Chilli’s voice
